Balloons, banners, tableware and decorations for parties
A good party doesn't need a huge budget, just a bit of planning and the right decorations. Balloons, a banner and a nicely set table make even a small get-together feel like an occasion.
This category includes balloons and balloon garland kits, banners and backdrops, table covers, party tableware, centerpieces, cake toppers and decorations for birthdays, baby showers, graduations, weddings and holidays.
Start with a color scheme and use it everywhere. Two or three colors that match across balloons, napkins and the cake look much more polished than a mix of everything. Choose one focal point, usually a backdrop or a balloon arch, for photos.
Balloon garlands take longer to build than most people expect, so start the day before if you can. A small electric pump saves a lot of time. Keep latex balloons out of direct sun and away from heat, or they'll pop.
Check quantities against your guest list, and read pack sizes and dimensions carefully. For outdoor parties, choose weighted table covers and plan for wind.
