Shelves, caddies, organizers and racks for the bathroom
Bathrooms are often the smallest room in the house but hold some of the most stuff: towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies, spare toilet paper and a dozen bottles that all seem to end up on the edge of the tub.
This category includes shower caddies and corner shelves, over-the-toilet storage, under-sink organizers, wall shelves, towel racks and hooks, countertop trays and drawer organizers.
In a small bathroom, think vertically. The space above the toilet and the back of the door are often unused, and a tall, narrow shelf or a set of hooks can free up a lot of room. Under the sink, stackable drawers or a two-tier organizer that fits around the pipes keeps cleaning supplies and spares tidy.
Choose materials that cope with moisture. Stainless steel, aluminum, bamboo and plastic handle a humid bathroom better than untreated wood or cheap metal, which can rust. Adhesive and suction options are handy for renters, since they don't need drilling, but check the weight rating and clean the surface well before fitting.
Measure the space carefully, especially around pipes and toilet tanks, before you order.
